ABOUT ABOUT

You are cordially invited to the Whatcom Family & Community Network's 2017 Ken Gass Community Building Awards and Dinner. The event will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 5:30-8:30PM at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in the Dome Room (355 Harris Ave) in Fairhaven.

Each year WFCN accepts nominations from community groups, youth, adults and businesses that our Board, staff and partners have noticed doing special work in our community to link people together so that our children and families thrive. This year there is a stunning list of recipients who build community -- helping us be stronger together. See the list of honorees below.

A suggested donation for the dinner is $25 per person; $12 for youth under 17 years-old. Tickets can be purchased online here or at the door. The dinner will be catered by our friends at Kelly's O'Deli of Ferndale. No-cost parking is availble at the terminal after 5pm.

We deeply appreciate the caring and value that these individuals and organizations bring to our community. This year's honorees include:

  • Alexa Tucker
